Christingle Service

Sunday, 12 January

Come and take part in our Christingle on 12 January 2020, 3.30 – 5 pm.
This is an opportunity for funds to be raised for the Children’s Society for a million children and young people, to show them that they are not alone. The celebration is named after the Christingles that are lit at this time, and each element represents a different part of the Christian story. At All Saints’, we will be making our own Christingles with children and then holding a short child friendly service at 4.30 pm, where children will be encouraged to participate in our story and tableaux. If you would like your child to attend, please contact Julie Small on 07804 375220.

Sunday, 12 January

Thescreen: Bishop’s Stortford. ROH Live Encore: The Nutcracker 14.00. The Royal Ballet's glorious production of The Nutcracker, created by Peter Wright in 1984, is the production par excellence of an all-time ballet favourite. It is Christmas Eve and Herr Drosselmeyer the magician sweeps young Clara away on a fantasy adventure in which time is suspended, the family living-room becomes a great battlefield, and a magical journey takes them through the Land of Snow to the Kingdom of Sweets.
